Mountain Massage Wellness Center is a collaborative wellness space with two locations in Lexington and Staunton, Virginia. The Lexington location is located within Center of Gravity Yoga & Pilates, and is a massage only studio. Our Staunton location offers licensed massage therapy in multiple modalities, as well as wellness coaching, sound healing, meditation classes, and spiritual embodiment workshops. MMWC is sacred space dedicated to our community members to gather for support on their own healing journeys in a safe environment.

My name is Samara and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Certified Naturopathic Health Professional. I have always been passionate about whole body wellness. I believe true healing comes from a lifelong devotion to the reconnecting the mind, body, and spirit. I started my holistic career as a naturopathic health coach and reiki practitioner. I had the opportunity to open my first massage business (Mountain Massage) inside of Center of Gravity Yoga & Pilates in Lexington in March 2023, and I teamed up with my business partner Cat Freeman to open my second location (Mountain Massage Wellness Center) grand opening in Staunton on February 1st 2024. Cat is a sacred-space facilitator who will be providing trauma-informed meditation classes, workshops, health coaching, and sound healing experiences at our Staunton location. 

I have fallen in love with massage therapy as a career and plan to continue growing my practice and splitting my time between Lexington and Staunton for the foreseeable future. I am passionate about the benefits of therapeutic massage and I’d love to work with you! 

I am trained in a variety of modalities, and you can click on the "Services & Rates" page to learn more about the various techniques I use in my work.
I specialize in reiki energy healing, relaxation massages, and hot stones, however I also offer deep tissue and trigger point therapy. Cat and I also offer a fusion 90 minute Sound Bath Reiki Massage.
